I believe that habits change lives and that no one knows you better than yourself. I work with you to create habits that are unique to you, that’s why they work. Generic advice doesn’t stick; personalised systems do.
There’s some great advice available, but the reason it doesn’t work, or last, is that it’s generic. Get up at 5am but you work better at night, so you force yourself to get up at 5am and are too tired to do anything. The idea is sound; the execution doesn’t take account of you and how you feel and live. As your coach I work with you to build habits around you, personal and created by you.
You’ve been trying. For months. Maybe years. The problem isn’t that you’re not capable enough. The problem is you can’t see your own blind spots. External eyes see what you can’t. We start there. What have you tried, what hasn’t worked, what do you need to change.
That’s exactly the problem I help you solve. Your inability to get the basics in place isn’t because you’re not ready for help, it’s the reason you need it. I spent years going round in circles, stopping and starting. Then I found coaching and things started to move much more quickly. You don’t need to have everything in place before you start. That’s what we do together.
Most coaching assumes you just need more motivation. I believe that motivation is unreliable. I work with you to understand what’s getting in your way – the stories you tell yourself, the patterns you’ve fallen into – and build habits around the life you have to create the life you want.
We talk for around 45-minutes to an hour, exploring what’s been happening in your life, what’s gone well, what you want to change. The direction we take is led by you and the actions you decide to work on are chosen by you. I don’t give you homework. Our next session may pick up where we left off or may start somewhere different. It’s up to you.
Yes, I offer both in-person and virtual coaching sessions. I also offer walking sessions. Whatever works with your schedule, location and preference.
Generally, we meet fortnightly. This gives you time to work on your actions and allows patterns to become visible. Brick by Brick is a 90-day programme with accountability check-ins between sessions – these can be by email, text or WhatsApp – and are optional.

My background in psychology, NLP and coaching gives me a broad range of tools to draw on to work with you to build habits that are sustainable because they are specific to your life. My run coaching qualification means we can introduce movement and fitness into your programme if that’s something you want to explore.
